Ore Oduba is a broadcast journalist, TV personality, and actor born in London, England, on November 17, 1985. The Loughborough University alumnus is best known for hosting BBC children and sports programs. He became the first winner of the Inspirational Public Figure Award at the Ethnicity Awards in 2018.
In 2008, he began working as the presenter of CBBC's Newsround until 2013. While at CBBC, he presented Sportsround, Match of the Day Kickabout, Ultimate Sports Day, and co-presented All Over the Place Australia. In 2013, he contested in BBC One's Let's Dance for Comic Relief. In 2016, he participated in and won BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing with Joanne Clifton.
Ọrẹ worked at BBC One to present Hell on High Seas, New Year Live, Hardball, and The National Lottery Awards. In 2021, he participated in Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. He guest appeared on Hacker Time (2011), The Dog Ate My Homework (2014), The Crystal Maze: Celebrity Special (2017), and Celebrity Catchphrase (2018). He went on The Rocky Horror World Tour in 2022. He has worked alongside Charlie Staut and Jason Manford.
