Óscar Esaú Duarte Gaitán, widely known as Oscar Duarte, is a distinguished Nicaraguan professional soccer player, renowned for his prowess as a center-back in top soccer leagues around the world. He was born in Catarina, Nicaragua, on June 3, 1989.
Duarte's journey to success began in the youth ranks of Saprissa, where he honed his skills. In 2008, Duarte made his professional debut when he joined the senior squad of Deportivo Saprissa, marking the commencement of a remarkable career.
