Otherwise is an American rock band that was formed in 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The founding members of the band were the brothers Adrian Patrick (vocalist) and Ryan Patrick (guitarist).
The brothers dropped their debut full-length effort Otherwise in 2006 which turned out a big hit. It was followed three years later by the EP Some Kind of Alchemy in 2009. Their 2011 single Soldiers was a monstrous hit that skyrocketed their popularity and earned them a deal with Century Media. The label released the second full-length album True Love Never Dies in 2012. Their next EP The Enjoy the Pain appeared in 2013 and their third album Peace at All Costs followed in 2014, which turned out to be their highest-charting outing at the time. They dropped Sleeping Lions in 2017 with Century Media and 2019’s Defy was released on Mascot Records.
