Over The Rhine is an American folk music band formed in 1989 by husband and wife duo Linford Detweiler (pianist, guitarist, bassist) and Karin Bergquist (vocalist and guitarist). The band originally had four members with Ric Hordinski as guitarist and Brian Kelley as drummer. However, both members parted ways leaving the duo. The band released their independent albums “Till We Have Faces” (1991) and “Patience” (1992). In 1996, the band released two more independent albums “Good Dog, Bad Dog” and “The Darkest Night of the Year”, both of which attracted rave reviews. Over the course of their glorious career, they released 19 studio albums and 8 live albums. Their most notable work includes “Films For Radio” (2001), “Drunkard’s Prayer” (2005), “Meet Me at the Edge of the World” (2013), and “Love & Revelation” (2019).
