Owen is the stage name of the American singer, songwriter, and musician Mike Kinsella who performs indie-rock music. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on March 4, 1977. Mike has had a solo music career, but he is also known as a member of bands like Cap'n Jazz, Joan of Arc, and American Football. His discography includes the hit singles The Sad Waltzes of Pietro Crespi, Everyone’s Asleep in the House but Me, Bad News, Never Meant, and the albums Ghost Town, The King of Whys, and No Goof For No One Now. His music was featured on the album Exquisite Corpse alongside Yumi Zouma, Matt Pond PA, Katy Goodman, and Keil Corcoran.
