Ozzy Osbourne Bio

John Michael Osbourne, also known as “Ozzy”, was born on 3rd December, 1948 in Aston, Birmingham, United Kingdom. He is a singer, songwriter, composer, artist, performer, musician, and television personality. Pop and rock are his musical specialties, and his style is album rock, British metal, heavy metal, hard rock, neo-classical metal, and pop-metal. He gained a lot of fame and recognition as the lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Ozzy is also known as the Godfather of Heavy Metal and the Prince of Darkness. Some of his song highlights are “Crazy Train”, “I Don't Want to Change the World”, “Flying High Again”, “Paranoid”, “Mama, I'm Coming Home”, and many more. In the movies, he is known for his work and appearances in “Iron Man”, “Little Nicky”, “Moulin Rouge!”, etc. Ozzy has won 3 Grammy Awards and a total of 8 Grammy Award nominations. He has also won a Teen Choice Award, an MTV Movie Award nomination, and has a star on the Walk of Fame (2002).
