Paddy Casey is a singer and songwriter born in Dublin, Ireland. He had his first guitar when he was only 11. When he was 24 years old, he was approached by Sony’s A&R scout Hugh Murray. For the next three years, he stayed at Sun Studios, Dublin, recording 11 songs with the help of Pat Donne. Sony was impressed with the tracks and decided to release them. They also offered Casey a recording contract.
He released his first album, titled “Amen,” in 1999 and later embarked on a tour with the likes of Tracy Chapman, Blondie, R.E.M, The Pretenders, and Ian Brown. He released a new album, titled “Living,” in 2003, which became an instant hit in Ireland. For the next few years, he toured the album and was supported by artists like Pearl Jam and U2. In November 2016, he released a new single, “Turn This Ship Around.”
