Paddy Considine Bio

Paddy Considine was born on September 5th, 1974 in Staffordshire, UK. While studying drama at Burton College, he met a friend who would go on to become one of his frequent colleagues: director Shane Meadows. Meadows cast him in A Room for Romeo Brass (1999) as his first role in a feature film. After this debut, numerous leading and supporting roles were taken by Considine. He co-wrote and starred in Dead Man’s Shoes (2004), gaining more attention along with his role in My Summer of Love (2004). He later starred in films such as The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) and Submarine (2010). Considine’s directing debut feature, Tyrannosaur (2011), won a BAFTA award for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer.
