Hailing from Mexico City, Mexico, Panteón Rococó is a Mexican band that performs mento, mestizo, calypso, and ska music. The band consists of Dr. Shenka on vocals, Dario Espinosa on bass guitar, Hiram Paniagua on drums, Leonel Rosales on guitar, Felipe Bustamante on the keyboard, Paco Barajas on trombone, Gorri on guitar, Missael on saxophone, and Tanis on percussion. The band was formed in 1995, and they released their debut studio project Toloache pa' mi Negra in 1997. Their discography includes the hit singles La Dosis Perfecta, Vendedora de Caricias, Esta Noche, La Carencia, El Ultimo Ska, and the albums A la Izquierda de la Tierra, Ni Carne Ni Pescado, and Tres veces Tres. Their music was featured on the album La Vida Vive Se Vive Bailando Cumbia alongside fellow musical artists Kika Edgar, Chico Che Chico, Fatima Campo, and Alexander Acha.
