Paolo Banchero Bio
Paolo Banchero is a professional basketball player who plays for Orlando Magic that competes in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born on 12th November 2002, in Seattle, Washington, United States, Paolo attended O’Dea High School. He received offers for playing college basketball from Kentucky and Duke but decided to commit to Duke. He made his debut Duke in a win against Kentucky. In November 2021, he won the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Freshman of the Week award.
In April 2022, he was declared for the 2022 NBA draft. He was later selected by Orlando Magic with the first overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft. He made his preseason debut in October 2022 in a loss to Memphis Grizzlies. He eventually made his season debut on 19th October in a loss to Detroit. Paolo is eligible to play for Italy and has indicated a willingness to represent the European counting in international competitions.
