Paolo Nutini Bio
Paolo Nutini is a Scottish singer, songwriter and guitar player born in Paisley, Scotland, UK on January 9, 1987 as Paolo Giovanni Nutini. He grew up in a music-loving family, listening to all kinds of music including jazz, opera, and folklore. At age 16, he moved to London and started playing at local venues. In 2005, shortly after turning 18, Nutini signed a contract with Atlantic Records. A few months later, he released his debut album “These Streets”, which was very successful, having four singles in the top 40 in the UK. That opened the way for Nutini to play in exclusive places worldwide, he even opened the Rolling Stones in Vienna. In 2009 he released his album “Sunny Side Up” and in 2014 the album “Caustic Love”. He has worked in commercials for brands like PUMA and he is a multi-awarded artist, with nominations and awards at the UK Music Video Awards, the UK Festival Award, and the Q Awards, among others.
