Parson James is an American singer and songwriter who was born on June 7th, 1994 in Cheraw, South Carolina, United States. He was born and raised in Cheraw taking music interest from his parents who were music lovers.
Parson’s big break arrived when he sang the lead vocal on Kygo’s Stole the Show track. Kygo was a Norwegian DJ and music producer. The song went on to become a major hit and Parson got the opportunity to sign with RCA Records. His first release for the label was Sinner Like You that appeared in July 2015. His own version of Stole the Show appeared in August the same year and the single Temple following a few months later.
Parson later released a five-track EP in February 2016 titled The Temple. He also collaborated with the New Zealand pop star Stan Walker to record a cover of Tennessee Whiskey. In September 2020 High Tide, Low Tide single appeared.
