Patrick Maroon, commonly known as Pat Maroon, is an American professional ice hockey player who currently plays as a left winger in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, on April 23, 1988.
Patrick began his professional career in 2007 when he was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the sixth round of the NHL Entry Draft. Throughout his career, Maroon has represented several teams in the NHL, including the Anaheim Ducks, Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils, St. Louis Blues, and Tampa Bay Lightning. During his time with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Maroon played alongside several notable players such as Steven Stamkos, Andrei Vasilevskiy, Tanner Jeannot, and Brayden Point.
Maroon is a three-time Stanley Cup champion, winning the championship in 2019, 2020, and 2021. He is known for his strong physical presence on the ice and his ability to score crucial goals.
