Patrick Droney is an American singer and songwriter born in 1999. in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. Patrick was a born prodigy and was already playing the guitar at age six. He cut his teeth while attending New York University.
When Patrick was thirteen, he won the New Generation Award from the Robert Johnson Blues Foundation. At the time he was sharing the stage with some of the greats soul and blue artists like B.B. King and James Brown. He released The Other Side in 2006, his first EP, with Benjamin Burnley.
His first widely distributed single Stand and Deliver landed in 2018 which was followed by State of the Heart, his debut full-length in 2020. Patrick has performed on stage at The Montreal Jazz Festival, The Whiskey A-Go-Go, BB King’s Blues Clubs (LA and NYC), The Bamboozle Music Festival, and House of Blues, Big Spring Jam (AL) and The York Festival (PA) to name a few.
