Patrik Schick is a professional soccer player born on January 24, 1996 in Prague. Schick has enjoyed an illustrious career as a center forward, playing for TJ Viktoria Vestec (2002-2003), FS Optimum Sport Dobrejovice (2003-2007), AC Sparta Prag (2007-2015), Bohemians Prag (2015-2016), AC Sparta Prag (2016), Sampdoria Genua (2016-2017), AS Roma (2017-2019), RB Leipzig (2019-2020), AS Roma (2020), and Bayer 04 Leverkusen (2020-present).
Schick’s Sampdoria signing in June 2016 marked his debut season in the Italian Serie A. On September 8, 2020, Schick completed his move to Bayer 04 Leverkusen, He has played over 65 matches for the team netting 35 goals in those games.
Schick was called up for International duty with the Czech Republic senior side for the first time at their pre-UEFA Euro 2016 training camp. He earned his first cap in a warm-up game against Malta on 27 May 2016.
At the UEFA Euro 2020, Schick’s goal was voted “goal of the tournament”. He also became the first Czech player since Tomáš Rosický to score a brace at a major tournament.
