Patty Loveless, born as Paricia Lee Ramey, is an American country rock Singer who was born on January 4, 1957, in Pikeville, Kentucky. She began to write and to sing when she was very young, and started to play at local country jamborees alongside her older brother soon enough. At one of the many shows, the pair caught the Wilburn Brothers' attention, and it was Porter Wagoner who later invited Patty to perform with him and Dolly Parton on the weekends.
In 1973, Patty became a featured vocalist with the Wilburn Brothers’ band. She eventually signed a record deal with Acuff-Rose, and released her debut self-titled album in 1986. Its follow-up was released in 1988, titled ‘If My Heart Had Windows’, and during that same year, she released ‘Honky Tonk Angel’.
