Paul Anka is a singer-songwriter from Ontario, Canada, who has been active since the ‘50s. His first #1 hit came with “It Doesn’t Matter Anymore,” a song recorded by the late Buddy Holly. He also wrote the theme song for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson around the same time. Other notable credits from the era include Tom Jones’s platinum single “She’s A Lady,” and a writing credit on Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” He experienced a major career revival in the ‘70s, with “Times Of Your Life,” and a jingle for the imaging company Kodak. His most recent hit single “Love Never Felt So Good,” arrived in Michael Jackson’s posthumous album in 2014, two decades after he wrote it.
