Paul Cook is a drummer born on 20th July 1956 in Shepherd’s Bush, London, England. He is best known for being part of the punk rock band Sex Pistols. Cook drew a lot of inspiration from popular musicians and rock bands. He started playing drums when he was still a teenager. He later started performing covers for Steve Jones, who was a guitarist. Together with a school friend, they formed a band called The Strand. The band was later renamed Sex Pistols.
Cook and Steve later formed a band called The Professionals with Andy Allan. They went on to release four singles and their only album, titled “I Didn’t See It Coming” in 1981. In the late 1980s, Cook started a new group called Chiefs of Relief. In 2008, Sex Pistols performed at the Isle of Wright Festival.
