Paul Kelly was born Paul Maurice Kelly on the 13th of January 1955 in Adelaide and in as Australian singer, songwriter, harmonica player and guitarist. Working since 1974 the artist has worked solo and with groups such as the Dots, the Messengers and the Coloured Girls. With a musical style that crosses genres, he works within rock, dub reggae, bluegrass, country and folk.
With over twenty-two albums released so far, some with other artists and some solo artists, some of his best known singles include Billy Baxter, To Her Door, Dumb Things and Roll on Summer. With many accolades to his name, Kelly has been nominated for over seventy awards and has won thirty thus far, including fourteen ARIA Awards.
