Paul Pierce Bio

Paul Anthony Pierce was born on October 13, 1977 in Oakland, California. He is a former professional basketball player. Pierce played the small forward position for 19 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended High school at Inglewood High School in Inglewood, California. Pierce played college basketball for Kansas from 1995 to 1998. The Boston Celtics picked him in the first round as the 10th overall selection in the 1998 NBA draft. Pierce’s playing career was from 1998 to 2017.

He won the NBA champion (2008), NBA Finals MVP (2008), NBA All-Star ten times (2002–2006, 2008–2012), All-NBA Second Team (2009), All-NBA Third Team three times (2002, 2003, 2008), NBA All-Rookie First Team (1999), NBA Three-Point Shootout champion (2010), Consensus first-team All-American (1998), McDonald’s All-American (1995), and California Mr. Basketball (1995).
