Paul Rodgers is an English singer, songwriter, and musician, best known for being the vocalist of Free and Bad Company and recently touring and recording with the famous rock band Queen. He was born on December 17, 1949, in Middlesbrough, England. Paul Rodgers was ranked as the 55th Greatest Singers of All Time on Rolling Stone magazine chart Top 100 Greatest Singers of All Time. In 2011, he was awarded the British Academy’s Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music. Paul Rodgers has also had a successful solo career, having released more than ten studio albums and some live albums. He has also written most of the hits of the bands Free and Bad Company as well as those of the lesser-known bands called The Firm and The Law.
