Paula Dacia DeAnda, known as Paula DeAnda, is an American singer and songwriter who performs pop, soul, and R&B music. She was born in San Angelo, Texas, United States, on November 3, 1989.
Paula started singing at the age of three and eventually honed her skills as a teenager by performing at local talent shows and events. She was discovered by Arista Records when she was just 16 years old, and soon after, she signed a record deal. She first rose to fame with her self-titled debut album in 2006, which featured the hit single Walk Away (Remember Me) and earned a gold certification.
Throughout her career, DeAnda has collaborated with many renowned artists, including Baby Bash, Bow Wow, and The D.E.Y. Her second studio album, Paula DeAnda 2.0, was released in 2018, and showcased her growth as an artist with a more mature sound and honest lyrics.
