Paula Carlene Nelson is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and DJ who performs country music. She was born in Houston, Texas, United States, on October 27, 1969. Paula began her music career in the late 1990s, and in 1997, she released her debut studio project Coming Home. Her discography includes the singles Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Be That As It May, River in the Rain, Riddles and Rhymes, and the albums Fireflies, Under the Influence, and Little City. Paula was featured on Willie Nelson’s album It Always Will Be alongside Paula Nelson, Norah Jones, and Lucinda Williams.
