Paxton Lynch, born as Paxton James Lynch, on February 12, 1994, in San Antonio, Texas, is an American professional football player, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL) on the position of quarterback. He attended Trinity Christian Academy in Deltona, Florida, where he played football and basketball before heading off to attend at Memphis where he continued playing college football. In the 2016 NFL Draft, Paxton Lynch was drafted in the first round by the Denver Broncos, signing a four-year contract. After his contract ended, Paxton Lynch was a free agent before signing a new contract with the Seattle Seahawks, soon being waived in 2019. The same year, he signed a contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
