Portuguese actor, Pedro Carvalho was born in 1985 in Guarda. His passion for acting started at a young age and led him to Lisboa to study at ACT, a professional acting school. He also participated in many workshops to prepare himself to enter the industry. A well-rounded professional, he signed his first contract with TVI television and worked on 13 projects for the channel, including soaps and TV series. The highlights of his career were the telenovelas, ‘Remedio Santo’, ‘O Beijo do Escorpiao’, and ‘Ouro Verde’. In 2013 and 2014, he bagged two Best Actor awards for the Emmy-nominated serial, ‘Remedio Santo’. He also won the Portuguese and Brazilian International Awards for his role in ‘O Beijo do Escorpio.’ In 2016, he was invited to Rio de Janeiro to star in the telenovela, ‘Escarva Mae’. For his performance on the show, he was nominated for a Premio Extra Globo de Televisao Award in the Best New Actor category. He went on to sign two more telenovelas for Globo TV.
