Margaret Ellen Noonan, better known as Peggy Noonan, is an American journalist, writer, and TV personality best known for her political writing. She was born in New York City, New York, United States, on September 7, 1950.
Peggy began her writing career in the mid-1980s when she became a speechwriter for President Ronald Reagan, and she went on to work with future President George H. W. Bush.
As a journalist, she is known for her work with The Wall Street Journal, and as a TV personality and political consultant, she has been a recurring figure on the TV shows Morning Joe, Meet the Press, This Week, and the Daily Show, which has featured Jon Stewart, Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert, and John Oliver.
Peggy has written the books The Time of Our Lives, On Speaking Well, The Case Against Hillary Clinton, Patriotic Grace, and When Character Was King.
