Pendulum Bio

Penduluum is a five-man quintet drum-and-bass electronic band from Perth, Australia. Their line-up is Rob Swire (vocals, synthesizers, guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, production), Gareth McGrillen (bass guitar, backing vocals, production, MC), Peredur ap Gwynedd (guitar), KJ Sawka (drums), and El Hornet (DJ). On the band’s Facebook page, they hype: “We want to hear something different and exciting, but the material we want to hear isn’t getting made. Thats why we spend nearly every waking moment trying to create music that takes you out of this universe.”
Pendulum has released three albums to date: “Hold Your Colour” (2005), “In Silico” (2008), and “Immersion” (2010). The group is best known for its remixes, including such works as “Voodoo People” by The Prodigy, “Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin, “The Catalyst” by Linkin Park, “I’m Not Alone” by Calvin Harris, “Violet Hill” by Coldplay, and “Master of Puppets” by Metallica.
