Pentatonix Bio
Pentatonix, sometimes abbreviated PTX is a pop rock group, whose musicians are a cappella singers, originating from Arlington, Texas, United States. The group was formed in 2011 and is made up of Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kevin Olusola, Kirstin Maldonado and Matt Sallee. In 2015, they won a Grammy award for Best instrumental or a cappella arrangement, the following year they were again winners in the same category. In 2017, they won another Grammy, this time in the category Best Country. They have been nominated on several occasions for major awards, such as the Streamy Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, the iHeartRadio Awards. The group has done several collaborations with great artists such as Lindsey Stirling, Perfume, Dolly Parton and many more.
