Pete Holmes is an American actor, comedian, podcaster, cartoonist, and writer. He was born as Peter Benedict Holmes on 30th of March, 1979, in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S. He started his career as a comedian, performing on the stand-up scene of New York. He performed at several shows in 2010, like the “John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show” and the “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. In 2013, he hosted his first show, “The Pete Holmes Show”, which aired on TBS for a total of 28 episodes. He has also voiced over a lot of characters on different animation series like “Ugly Americans” from 2010 to 2012, “The Simpsons” on an episode in 2018, “Animals” in 2016, among many others. In 2017, he created the HBO comedy “Crashing”, alongside fellow comedian Judd Apatow, which earned a lot of positive reviews from critics. He also hosts a podcast titled “You Made It Weird”, where he invites guests like Deepak Chopra and Garry Shandling. Holmes is also a cartoonist and his work has appeared in The New Yorker.
