Pete Wentz Bio
Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz III, better known as Pete Wentz, is an American musician, born on June 5, 1979, in Wilmette, Illinois. He is best known as the bassist and lyricist for the rock band Fall Out Boy alongside Patrick Stump, Joe Trohman, and Andy Hurley. Before he joined Fall Out Boy in 2001, he was the lead singer and songwriter for the metalcore band Arma Angelus.
Pete also owns a record label named DCD2 Records, which has signed bands including Panic! at the Disco and Gym Class Heroes. He also hosts the TV show Best Ink and runs a film production company called Bartskull Films, Clandestine Industries, which distributes books as well as a bar called Angels & Kings. The Illinois native is also an author of books, including The Boy With the Thorn In His Side, which is a story based on nightmares he had as a child.
