Peter Gabriel Bio
Born in February 13, 1950, Peter Brian Gabriel came from Chobham, Surrey, England. He is known to be a humanitarian activist aside from being a musician, singer, and songwriter. In the early ‘70s, he is the leader of the group Genesis. Then his first solo EP was released in 1997, where the music was darker with influences of worldbeat and electronic. Gabriel became a recognized cult artist.
In 1982, he released “Security” which made him move to mainstream music. The song “Shock the Money” reached the Top 40, leading to a multiplatinum record breakthrough “So” in 1986. By then, Gabriel became an international star.
