Peter Hook and the Light Bio
Peter Hook and the Light is a rock band in the United Kingdom. The band was formed in 2010, and its current members include lead vocalist/bassist/guitarist Peter Hook, bassist/electronic drummer Jack Bates, drummer/keyboardist Paul Kehoe, guitarist/backing vocalist/keyboardist David Potts, and keyboardist Martin Rebelski. The band occasionally invites Rowetta to perform as a guest vocalist. Over the years, the band has seen some members leave and others join. They released their debut EP, “1102 | 2011 EP”, on 9th May 2011.
In 2011, the band went on tour in Portugal, Spain, Finland, Norway, and France. They have released a number of live performance albums. In 2010, they released the live album “Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures – Orchestral Version.” In 2017, they released “Closer Live Tour 2011 – Live in Manchester”, “Unknown Pleasures Tour 2012 – Live in Leeds”, “Power, Corruption, & Lies Tour 2013 – Live in Dublin”, and “Movement Tour 2013 – Live in Dublin”.
