Peter McKinnon Bio
Peter McKinnon (born October 28, 1985 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian YouTuber, photographer, filmmaker, and vlogger most renowned for his filmmaking and photography tutorials on YouTube. He is known for Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Lightroom.
Peter McKinnon started his career as a YouTuber in 2010. He joined YouTube on February 15, 2010 and on September 23, 2015, uploaded his first video, a vlog in which he visited the popular Kensington Market district of Toronto.
Since then, Peter has uploaded numerous short films and tutorials. Some of his popular YouTube videos include, Photoshoot for CYRIL and 8 Camera HACKS in 90 Seconds. In 2019, Peter was named Breakout YouTuber of the Year at the Shorty Awards and in 2020, he received a Streamy for Cinematographer of the Year. His works have also been featured on reputable platforms including the Royal Canadian Mint, Magic Magazine and other photography magazines.
