Peter Serafinowicz Bio
Peter Szymon Serafinowicz is an actor, comedian, director, and screenwriter from the United Kingdom. He is best recognized for his roles in Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace as Pete and Darth Maul, respectively (1999). In addition, he has appeared in several British and American comedy series.
He was born in the Liverpool district of Gateacre on July 10, 1972, to office worker Catherine and scaffolder Szymon Serafinowicz. His father was half Belarusian and half Polish and was born and raised in Surrey before relocating to Liverpool.
Serafinowicz has a brother named James, who went on to become a film producer, and a sister named Helen, who became a writer and married Irish comedy writer Graham Linehan in 2004 after Serafinowicz introduced them.
