Peter Frederick Weller (nicknamed Pete) is an American actor, director and television personality who was born on June 24th 1947 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, United States. Peter graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1972 with a B.A. in Theatre. His parents were Dorothy Jean and Frederick Bradform Weller.
Peter made his first appearance on Broadway starring as David in Joseph Papp’s New York Shakespeare Festival production of David Rabe’s Sticks and Bones. His film debut was in Richard Lester’s Butch and Sundace: The Early Days (1979). He rose to fame after starring in the classic hit movie Robocop films. Some other well known movies he appeared in includes Star Trek Into Darkness, Naked Lunch and Leviathan.
