Phantastic Ferniture Bio
Phantastic Ferniture is an indie rock band from Sydney, Australia formed in 2014 by the solo folk-singer and guitarist Julia Jacklin, guitarist Elizabeth Hughes, bassist Tom Stephens, and drummer Ryan K. Brennan. In the beginning, they were just trying to have fun as a group of friends, performing for the first time in what they thought will be their only line of shows named “Christmas Extravaganza First and Final Gig”. The reaction of the crowd during these shows inspired them to release their debut single “Fuckin’ n’ Rollin’” produced by the drum player, Brennan. The song got to the local radio airplay which led to the release of “Gap Year”, their second single. Their first and self-titled album saw the light in 2018 under Transgressive Records, Polyvinyl, and Make Out Records, their own label.
