Philip John Neville, commonly known as Phil Neville, is an English retired professional soccer player and current soccer manager. He is widely known for his contributions as a full-back and midfielder for renowned English Premier League clubs Manchester United and Everton. He was born in Bury, England, on January 21, 1977.
Neville enjoyed a successful career as a player, earning 59 senior caps while representing England in various international competitions. As a player, he won the Premier League, FA Cup, FA Community Shield, and UEFA Champions League.
After retiring from playing in 2013, Neville transitioned into coaching, and his first managerial role was with Salford City in 2015. In 2018, Neville was appointed as the head coach of the England women's national soccer team, leading the team to the semi-finals of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. He also had a stint with Major League Soccer team Inter Miami CF.
