Philipp Lahm is a well-known soccer player who was born on November 11th, 1983 in Munich, Germany. His crisp tackling and precise passing ability, combined with his 5'7" stature, earned him the nickname 'Magic Dwarf'. He joined the Bayern Munich youth system after a scout saw him play for his hometown. He signed with the club under the leadership of manager Jupp Heynckes. Later, the German fullback was promoted to team captain and led Bayern Munich to five consecutive Bundesliga titles between the years of 2002 and 2013. Likewise, he was made the captain of the national team and was a key figure in Germany's victory in the 2014 World Cup.
