Phum Viphurit, born as Viphurit Siritip, on August 15, 1995, in Bangkok, Thailand, is a Thai singer and songwriter, most famous by his nickname Phum. Phum Viphurit moved to New Zeland, Australia with his family when he was only nine years old. He got to learn how to play his first instrument there, a drum. Soon, he turned to learn how to play the guitar instead. At the age of eighteen, he moved back to Thailand where he enrolled at Mahidol University International College. He started his career in music by posting cover songs on his YouTube channel and soon he signed his first contact with the Rat Records record label. His debut album, named Manchild, was released in 2017. In 2018, Phum Viphurit released one of his greatest hits called Lover Boy and the same year he went on an international tour in Asia, America, and Europe.
