Piso 21 is an all male Colombian Latin pop group formed in Medellin, Columbia in 2007 and named after an elevator in a building that had 21 floors. The band members consist of, Pablo Mejîa (vocalist), Juan David Huertas (vocalist/guitarist), David Escobar (vocalist/guitarist), and Juan David Castaño (vocalist). They released their first debut album titled after their group’s name Piso 21 in 2012 that earned them a nomination for Best New Artist at the Latin Grammy Awards. In 2014 they released the single “Suele Suceder” featuring Nicky Jam, that made it in the top 20 on the Columbian Monitor Latino charts and number 29 on the Tropical Song Chart. They signed with Warner Music Latina in 2016 and released “Me Llamas,” a single that reached top 40 in multiple countries. In 2018 they released their second studio album Ubuntu, featuring artists like Manuel Turizo, Anne-Marie, Paulo Londra, and others.
