Play-N-Skillz Bio

Play-N-Skillz is a duo formed by Juan Salinas aka Play and Oscar Salinas aka Skillz. The brothers were born and raised on Irving Texas. Their big break happened in 2004 for their work on “U Gotta Feel Me” by Lil Flip. The track made it to the Top 5 of the Billboard 200. On the same year, they worked on Krayzie Bone and Adina Howard’s collab single “Freaks” which peaked on No. 69 on the Hot 100.

Chamillionaire’s 2006 track “Ridin’” became their breakout success. The track won Grammy’s Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 2006. “Ridin’” also topped the Hot 100 and became quadruple platinum. In 2008, they received a Grammy Award nomination for Album of the Year for Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter II. I

In 2018, the duo released “Cuidao” featuring Yandel, Messiah, “ Azukita” featuring Steve Aoki, Daddy Yankee, and Elvis Crespo. They have also worked with Super Junior’s track “Lo Siento” featuring Leslie Grace.
