Poison is a rock band which was formed in 1983 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. It is made up of Bobby Dall, C.C. DeVille, Bret Michaels, and Rikki Rockett.
The band’s debut album, Look What the Cat Dragged In, was released in 1986. The sophomore album, Open Up and Say… Ahh!, propelled the group to success. The album made it to No. 2 of the US charts and among the top hits from the release include Every Rose Has Its Thorn, Fallen Angel, and Nothin’ but a Good Time. In 1990, the group released the album Flesh & Blood which earned a nomination for Favorite Heavy Metal/Hard Rock Album in the American Music Awards.
In 2016, the band released The Best of Poison: 20 Years of Rock album to celebrate their 20-year anniversary.
