Poppy Drayton is a popular television actress who was born on June 7th, 1991, in Surrey, England. The actress attended and graduated from the Arts Educational School in Chiswick. She first came to widespread attention when she played Elizabeth Thatcher in the Hallmark Channel movie When Calls the Heart. Likewise, she was cast to play Amberle Elessedil, a recurring character on the Shannara Chronicles, a fantasy series broadcast on MTV. In 2018, she played the title role in the film adaptation of The Little Mermaid. Additionally, she also appeared in the Madeleine Allsopp episode of the Downton Abbey Christmas special.
