Jamel Bousbaa, also known as Potter Payper, is a British rapper born in 1992 in Essex, England. Even though his debut mixtape “The Philosopher's Chrome” did not see success, he got his breakthrough on the account of his freestyle performance on the “BL@CKBOX” web series. In 2013 he released the critically acclaimed “Training Day,” and after two more releases he signed with Grimey Limey to issue “One Time.” In 2016, Payper released “Training Day 2” and went on hiatus for four years. In 2020, the rapper returned with the EP “Vision,” and put forth a third part for “Training Day” shortly after. Following a viral performance at GRM Daily’s “Daily Duppy” web series, the latter album reached 3rd place in the UK's charts.
