Preeti Jhangiani Bio
Preeti Jhangiani is a model and actress from India, best known for her works in the Telugu film industry. Born on August 18, 1981 in Mumbai to Manika and Gobind Jhangiani, Preeti achieved fame after her role in the 2000 Hindi film, “Mohabbatein.”
She and her sibling Deepa Jhangiani grew up in a Sindhi-Hindu family. She completed her secondary school education at G D Somani Memorial School and attended Jai Hind College, but later dropped out.
Her first appearance in the entertainment industry came in the music album, “Yeh Hai Prem,” released in 1997. She gained a small audience with the album and got to feature in some advertisements. She made her film debut in the 1999 Malayalam movie “Mazhavillu.” She appeared in other Telugu films like “Thammudu” and “Narasimha Naidu” before she finally had a breakout role in Bollywood with “Mohabbatein.”
Her role in the 2017 film, “Taawdo The Sunlight” got her the Best Actress Award at the Rajasthan International Film Festival and special jury award for best actress. She is married to Parvin Dabas, and they have two children - Jaiveer and Dev. They reside in Bandra, Mumbai.
