PUP Bio
PUP, short for Pathetic Use of Potential, is a Canadian rock band. The band was formed in 2010, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, originally under the name of Topanga, releasing their debut EP in 2010, named Topanga EP. In 2012, they decided to change their band’s name into PUP, releasing their debut self-titled album in 2013. Before releasing their second studio album, named The Dream is Over in 2016, PUP went on a tour around the United States, Europe, and Australia including WayHome, Lollapalooza, Osheaga, Boston Calling, Shaky Knees, and many other popular music festivals. In January 2019, PUP released their third studio album named Morbid Stuff. PUP was nominated for numerous awards including SOCAN Songwriting Prize, Prism Prize, SOCAN Song-writing Prize, and many others.
