Quilt is an American dream pop band consisting of guitarist and singer Anna Fox Rochinski, guitarist Shane Butler, bassist Keven Lareau and drummer John Andrew. They began to play as a band around 2008, mostly at local venues in their natal Boston, before releasing their debut EP “Agents of Play” released in 2010. During the next year, they released their debut full length self-titled studio album through the label Mexican Summer. The album was very well received by critics and some of them compared their sound to mythical psychedelic band Jefferson Airplane. They have stated that some of their biggest musical influences are Neil Young and The Incredible String Band. They did a performance at Tiny Desk Studio, and some of their most acclaimed hits are “Young Gold” and “Rabid Love”. In 2014, they released the album “Held in Splendor” filled with soft guitar harmonies and a dreamy atmosphere.
