Quincy Acy Bio

Former American professional basketball player, Quincy Jyrome Acy was born on 6th October 1990 in Tyler, Texas. He attended John Horn High School and played for their team. He was listed as the No.25 power forward in the country in 2008 for his high school performance. Rivals.com considered him a four-star recruit. As a freshman, he played for Baylor. He earned the Big 12 Freshman team honors and was named Co-rookie of the Week in November 2008. For his average of 12 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, he was named to the All-Big 12-second team and Big 12 All-Defensive Team. In the 2012 NBA Draft, he was picked 37th overall by the Toronto Raptors. He played with the Bakersfield Jam as part of the NBA Development League. In December 2013, he was traded along with Aaron Gray and Rudy Gay to the Sacramento Kings. He went on to play for the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Legends, Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns, Shenzhen Leopards, Maccabi Tel Aviv, and Olympiacos. He led the Maccabi Tel Aviv to victory at the Israeli Championship in 2020 and also helped the Olympiacos win the Greek Cup and Greek League in 2022.
