Rachel True is an actress born on 15th November in New York City, United States. She is widely known for portraying Mona Thorne in the television sitcom “Half & Half” from 2002 to 2006. True started her career in 1991 with the television sitcom “The Cosby Show”. She relocated to Los Angeles in 1993 where she made her film debut in the satirical comedy film “CB4”. She has appeared in several shows, including “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper”, “Getting By”, “Family Matters”, and others.
In 1996, she landed her first major role in the teen supernatural horror “The Craft” as Rochelle Zimmerman. The following year, she appeared in the black comedy drama film “Nowhere”, which also featured James Duval. She has also appeared in numerous independent films, including “The Big Split” in 1999, “With or Without You” in 1999, and “Groove” in 2000.
