Radamel Falcao is a Colombian professional soccer player who currently plays as a striker for La Liga club Rayo Vallecano and the Colombian national team. He was born on 10th February 1986 in Santa Marta, Colombia, and began his career at the Lanceros Boyacá youth system and later joined Argentina’s River Plate youth academy from 2001 to 2005. He joined Portuguese club Porto, where he won the Portuguese Golden Ball award, the first Colombian to receive such an award.
He joined Atletico Madrid in 2012, where he impressed, finishing the season as the top scorer. He signed for Ligue 1 club Monaco in May 2013 and later moved to Manchester United and Chelsea on loan in September 2014. And July 2015 consecutively. In September 2019, he joined Galatasaray and Rayo Vallecano in September 2021. He has represented Colombia at the international level from 2001 till today.
